Canyon Ops Regional Director

The Canyon Ops Regional Director ensures that facilities under their leadership are maintained and monitored according the Foundation standards through the effective management of staff, resources, and processes. The core of the Canyon Operations mission is to provide facilities and services that contribute to meaningful retreat experiences for the programs, staff, and guests of the Foundation.

Foundation Internships

The H. E. Butt Foundation internships are one-year positions that serve specific programs of the Foundation, including Laity Lodge Youth Camp (LLYC), Communications and Outdoor School. In this program, you will gain hands-on experience in a nonprofit rooted in Christian faith and committed to cultivating wholeness in people and institutions for the transformation of communities. Our focus is spiritual formation and health in families and children.

Foundation Internships are salaried positions, including benefits and designed for recent college graduates looking for experience in various components of our programming and operations.

Foundation Interns are also part of a leadership development program designed specifically for the interns’ personal and spiritual growth. The goal is to equip interns for a lifetime of service and leadership. The development program includes devotionals, book studies, leadership seminars, conferences, mentorship, and fellowship with other interns.

Technical Services Specialist

The Technical Services Specialist monitors, maintains, diagnoses, and repairs technical systems including but not limited to HVAC and refrigeration equipment, commercial appliances, and water systems throughout the Canyon facilities according to Foundation standards.
